Ride4Restoration official raffle rules

1. Must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry to be eligible. Winners need not be present at drawing.

2. Tickets are $10.00 each and a maximum of 30,000 tickets will be sold. There is no limit as to the number of tickets that can be sold to an individual purchaser. Tickets can be paid for by cash or debit card. Tickets purchased via phone, or email will be mailed to the purchaser within 3 business days of order.

3. Raffle starts on Monday May 5, 2014 and ends on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 6:30 pm. Winner will be drawn at 7 pm. Tickets will be available for purchase at Jakob’s Well, 132 N Beach St Daytona Beach, FL, online at www.daytonaoutreachcenter.com, and at all live appearances to be announced as scheduled.

Tickets will be sold through March 14, 2015 or until the 30,000 ticket maximum is reached, whichever occurs first. Phone/Email ticket sales made after February 28, 2015 will require personal pick up of original raffle ticket prior to March 13, 2015.  Original raffle tickets will be mailed to ticket purchasers who have purchased via phone or email.

4. Grand Prize Winner will take ownership of a 2014 MGP Rat Bike and must claim prize from Jakob’s Well at 132 N Beach St. Daytona Beach, FL 32114.  Winner is responsible for pick-up /delivery of motorcycle. Daytona Outreach Center and MGP Rat Bikes will not be liable for any personal injury damage the day of the drawing and thereafter.

5. Winners shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments, licensing, registration, insurance and like charges associated with the prizes. For IRS requirements and Government rules governing withholding of prizes won, check with a qualified financial adviser. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar programs are not gifts and therefore the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.

6. Prize must be claimed within 30 days of notification. Should any prize not be claimed within the 30 days, it will then be forfeited to Daytona Outreach Center, Inc.

7. Daytona Outreach Center, Inc or MGP Rat Bike employees and immediate family members of are not eligible to participate in or win the raffle.

8. Winners will be drawn at random on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 7:00 pm and notified via phone or email by March 16, 2015.

9.  Upon issuance of a raffle ticket, all sales are final and non-refundable.

10. Daytona Outreach Center, Inc nor MGP Rat Bikes assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or non-delivered entries. Any mutilated, incomplete or illegible entries will be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified.

11. Any unsold tickets become the property of Daytona Outreach Center, Inc.

12. 100% of the net proceeds from this raffle benefit Daytona Outreach Center, Inc. PO Box 1925  Daytona Beach, FL 32115

13. Driver's license or other acceptable form of identification along with the winning ticket stub must be presented before claiming any prize.

14. Purchasers, by participating (and the winner, by accepting the prize) release the employees of Daytona Outreach Center, Inc and MGP Rat Biikes and their respective partners, vendors, agents, representatives, board members, sponsors, service agencies and independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, employees and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to participation in the raffle and possession or use of the prize awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness. In the case of any dispute, the decision of Daytona Outreach Center, Inc and MGP Rat Bikes shall be final.

15. Void where prohibited.

If you are wondering what Ride4Restoration motorcycle raffle is all about, here it is
 

We are a ministry that brings men in from the streets and through the truth of Gods Word we teach them how to get over the hurts of life and live following His instruction. We call this the 28:20 project taken from Jesus' instruction in Matthew 28:20. This is a residential program, we have a Veterans house and a mens house.

We are traveling to evangelize the lost and encourage the church. We will also be raffling off a MGP rat bike to raise funds for the ministry and to purchase a transitional house for men who have completed the program. This will be an economical step back into the world where they can begin to work and save money for their own home, car, etc and still have the accountability to stay on the right track.

We have a thrift store and a coffee shop which serve many purposes; a safe place to relearn or learn new job skills, encourage and minister to those in need and support the ministry. Both the Jakob's Well and DOC "for the least of these" thrift store are managed by men who have completed our program. We have plans to begin a home repair business for those same purposes.

We also have a graduate in Trinidad. The Daytona OutreachCenter fully supports his ministry there along with other local and foreign missions.
